The most notable thing about FF/Mega Man was that the match picture was backwards. This was because in every Mega Man game, you're almost always going right. In every FF game, you're almost always on the right and looking left in fights. And when this is the most notable thing about a match, you know you have a boring blowout on your hands.
There was really nothing in this match to indicate that FF was in any trouble in the later rounds. It once again broke 100k votes despite getting killed by the board vote early, en route to yet another killing. And given that "Mega Man" is an all-inclusive name, FF scoring such a huge blowout here was all the more impressive. This contest was more or less FF's to lose after this match, assuming you put a lot of stock into total votes.
Fun Fact: During the match, Tranny made a joke topic saying that Zelda would win in the final due to Zelda doing better on MMX than FF did here on Mega Man. After all, SFF doesn't exist and MMX is obviously the stronger series!
