Were this a first round match it would have sucked, but in round 3 it's more than acceptable because we can look at Paper Mario getting more than 42% on a 1 seed and go "this was legit". And it was. Paper Mario's small little series had a good contest, and even though it ended here you can't take away from it how hilarious that "upset" over World of Warcraft was. Few things are more entertaining to me than pretentious fanbases whining their asses off when people disagree with them, especially the WoW fanbase. I know most of you guys don't have LL access, but you missed one hell of a classic topic during that match.
Now I know MGS3 had WoW to deal with in the top half, but only 27% had MGS3 winning three matches, really? That number stuns me, especially given we have a direct match between MGS3 and WoW: http://board8.wikia.com/wiki/Metal_Gear_Solid_3_vs_Oblivion_vs_World_of_Warcraft_vs_Tales_of_Symphonia_2009
You can't do any Majora > GSC voodoo there, either. Picking WoW to beat MGS3 was one of the worst moves by the casuals all contest, no matter how bad the MGS series ended up looking this year.
