Ulti's Analysis[]
There was some buzz Seph could lose this match coming from people who overestimated his downfall a bit. Basically, it went "hey Seph always loses the board vote, and if Falcon is leading early people might rally". Stuff like that. It actually wasn't a bad theory and Falcon did lead for a few seconds, but Sephiroth proceeded to stomp the crap out of him shortly after. This was never a match after the first few seconds, and we have a fantastic comparison point for this one.

Seph did right about what one would expect, and as of this point the rumors about his death were greatly exaggerated. It got me thinking about something I read recently though.

I'm sorry but this is just dumb. How many votes do you people think you're capable of getting? Anyone can rally. I'm not impressed there. But for actual votes, how many do we actually put in? Maybe 250? Come on man, the idea that we have the biggest influence on results is ridiculous. The board vote matters for about 20 seconds and then matches go as planned.
Safer777's Analysis[]
People were expecting Sephiroth to score around 65% and he did that. So what else to say? Obviously Seph would win here. Also he beat a Smash character! Smash boost my ass! But in all seriousness this match was good if you are a fan of Seph like me. Seems that Seph still has some power and it makes sense. Man if only this FF7 remake would come out! What happened to it? As for Falcon of course he did as he was expected. Even I know the Falcon Punch thing now. So yeah pretty normal stuff here.
