Kingdom Hearts has got to be the only contest entrant that can score a 73-27 blowout yet still have people going doomsday prophecy on it. This happened last year too, when Sora "failed" to go Snake-Tanner on Agent 47. People thought it was a guarantee that Alucard would destroy him the next round, yet Sora won with relative ease.
Fast forward to one year later. Castlevania pulls off a win, then Kingdom Hearts doesn't go historically berserk against total cult fodder in the very next match. Doomsday for Kingdom Hearts again. Never mind KH pulling in almost 82000 votes by itself or anything <_<
Not that Castlevania didn't have an excellent chance to win (I figured that CV beat a series I thought could beat KH, so why couldn't CV win?), but totally dismissing Kingdom Hearts after its sequel was silly. After all, this was the same series responsible for the legendary KHF of Summer 2003.
And uh... I've never played a Harvest Moon game, so I don't even know what KH was "supposed" to get in this. All I know is that it's anywhere between cult and niche fodder, and that KH did well enough on it to be impressive.
