There's two ways of looking at this match now that the contest is over. With MGS confirmed as the contest's big turkey, you can look at this match and say it underperformed, especially compared to how it rolled heads in 2009. Or you can go hey, Assassin's Creed rocked the vote-ins and MGS4 killed it anyway despite a picture disadvantage.
Given how awful the entire series looked this contest, I'm inclined to go with the former. Remember, Assassin's Creed is a hated game. For MGS4 to not even double it given 2009, picture disadvantage or not, was really bad. And if this match didn't convince you MGS4 lost a big step, rounds 2 and 3 certainly would.
