Heeeeeey, it's another chance to tell people how great a game RE4 is! You're not a gamer unless you've played it. Fact and such. Stop whatever you're doing and play from start to finish. Seriously.
Anyway, Bowser vs Leon was a gimme match with a twist. Leon was bound to do well given the PS2 version of RE4. And do well he did. Leon was only expected to get 37.63% here. After the initial bracket votes did little to help Bowser dominate, Leon scored what you see above. The match was rather boring; no real percentage swings, nothing to really discuss save for how well he ended up doing.
However, PS2 RE4 release aside, this match paired with Kirby disappointing against Prince raised serious issues about how legitimate Bowser and Kirby really were in 2005. Yes we're on NintendoFAQs and such, but both characters setting themselves up for disappointment a year later couldn't have been coincidence. As for Leon, is he slated to be in RE5? The guy has some major potential if Capcom decides to stick with him.
