Not even the casuals got tricked by the weird seeding in this division, as even they favored Zelda more heavily than any other game to make it out of the division. This was also the fourth match in a row where the picture was better than the match, so people were getting super bored at this point and needed something good to happen soon. The next match would bring that, kind of.
Worth noting here is Dragon Age got kind of screwed in bracket placement with all these western games causing damage. Fallout 3, Half-Life 2, Oblivion and others all did some things this contest, while Dragon Age was stuck facing the biggest Zelda of the Gamecube-Wii era in round 2. Not every game can get good bracket favor, naturally, but it really feels like Dragon Age could have done good things in a different place on such an RPG-heavy web site.
People also looked at this and claimed our 2009 GOTY polls were terrible, but it's Zelda. You don't F with Zelda 1 on 1. Besides, we had a much funnier flagship for LOL 2009 than Dragon Age.
