Ulti's Analysis[]
This match was interesting for about 5 minutes when Lenneth was winning early, but then the second update hit and things returned to normal. We expected Cube > Claptrap > Lenneth, and that's what we got---
Er wait a sec, is that Lenneth Freaking Valkyrie going down by 150 and then making a comeback attempt overnight? F***in baller! Valkyrie Profile is such an unbelievable gem in an ocean of JRPG junk, and it's nice to see Lenneth making waves in a contest.
She would eventually succumb to Borderlands' day vote, but nothing can take away Lenneth getting some notice for us VP fans. That might be the best of all the unsung JRPGs there is.
Also worth noting here is that even with all the "joke characters" having sophomore slumps, Weighted Companion Cube seems to be just fine and might not ever lose much strength. Portal is just a different animal.
Zen's (Late) Analysis[]
People were taking the Cube here without much debate, it had a pretty accomplished contest history (I cannot believe I am saying that about an actual box), so the real debate here was Recent Western Franchise Icon™ vs JRPG Girl With Cult Fanbase®. You see where I'm going with this?
I don't know why people nominated Claptrap. Do people like this guy? He was made into a playable character in the Pre-Sequel, they added more Claptraps as NPCs and you also go into his head in the only TPS DLC.
Let me show you who likes Claptrap. Click on this video, watch the dude's intro and get back to me. No need to actually watch the "hilarious Claptrap moment."

Still, people like that dude were around in force and they voted for their boy and took the win away from Lenneth. She hadn't had a game for quite a while and her only other contest appearance was getting tripled by Rikku in the female half of 2006. Fun fact: The amount of votes Lenneth got herself in 2006 was almost 5000 votes more than the total for this entire 2013 match. Anyone wanna guess what the average votal will be in 2018?
Cube didn't really impress here but none of the joke characters other than maybe L-Block seemed to have any strength at all this time, so that didn't surprise anyone.
