Though the bottom half of the Northeast was an outstanding division, nothing is perfect. And in this contest, both Left 4 Dead games stunk up the joint. God of War got it during the day, too, so the casual-heavy action game was able to perhaps do better than normal. Percentages stayed still all match, so there's really nothing entertaining that happened.
The only thing to really make of this is whether or not Tales of Symphonia had a chance at pulling the upset. Tales vs God of War was heavily debated, and it was a very important match given the winner had a decent chance at making a deep contest run. Tales ended up struggling with Resident Evil 5, while God of War went out and took care of business. This made God of War the slight favorite, with only the night match dynamic being what kept the match in question.
