The final match of this division's second round was yet another one of those matches where real competition destroyed one of those cute little upset winners from round 1. It was nice Skies pulled off the win over Baldur's Gate 2 and all, but Mass Effect with the ME2 boost is the big leagues.
I've said many times the predictable 65-35 type of match is the worst kind, and it is. Portal doing that sort of thing to FF12 is one thing, since we didn't see it coming. But a predictable match going that way makes you really thankful for the 12 hour format so we can just get all these out of the way as quickly as possible.
I'm sure one could gleam Skies being legit based on this match and Mass Effect's loss to Portal, but I haven't played Skies yet so I really don’t care.
