In Super Smash Bros Brawl, Red Shifter made a bunch of stupid challenge levels and called the whole set the RIFT CHALLENGES: I WANNA BE THE MARIO set of levels, warning everyone that the challenges are canon.

The design process and play-testing of these levels were mostly broadcasted through Zachnorn's Stickam.

Red Shifter has two "extra" challenge levels (9 and 10) that he has not shared with anyone, mostly because he's lazy and because he hasn't finished them in one sitting himself.

Challenge Rules[]

The goal is to get from where Mario starts (as the first player) and make your way to the end of the level without taking damage. It is recommended to use the Stage Builder's "Test" feature to play/practice the levels.

For recording replays, it is recommended to use the following settings:

Special Brawl (Stamina)
All Items OFF
Damage Gauge OFF (Additional Rules menu)
Player 1 is Mario with 1 HP
Player 2 is Pit with 20 HP

When you start, Pit should be flown to the end of the level for convenience purposes.

I WANNA BE THE MARIO![]

Challenge 8, the "final" level of the challenges, is titled I WANNA BE THE MARIO. The formula for this level is currently in use as Red Shifter's signature.
