Metal Gear Solid was a revolutionary stealth action game for the original Playstation which is renowned across GameFAQs for being slightly weaker than Goldeneye in a Contest setting, despite possesing a much better single player and plot than Goldeneye.
Metal Gear Solid introduced Liquid Snake, so that there would be one more character to lose in the first few rounds of the character battles.
