Nightmare is one of the primary characters in the Soul Calibur series.
Nightmare got into the Summer 2007 Contest and became the most successful Soul Calibur character when he and Solid Snake defeated Vyse and Rayman in round one. In round two, Nightmare finished last against Snake, Riku, and Ryu Hayabusa.
Nightmare returned in the Summer 2008 Contest, where he and Samus defeated Raz and Crash Bandicoot. In the second round, Nightmare finished last as he lost to Samus, Frog , and Ganondorf.
