My name is Preston Ward Condra.

A project done by Preston Ward Condra.

A fellow fan of Power Rangers. Recently Preston Condra

has been trying to get back into the program once with watching the program, season by season and what may likely be a series of projects done where Preston (in this particular project) had him Rank All 38 Episodes Of Power Rangers SPD from Worst to Best.

A season orginally aired back in 2005 and it was fun reliving some memories with this season of Power Rangers.

The project was done from October 7, 2013 to October 16, 2013.  The project was completed in one week and a half.

Enjoy the write-ups now.

38. MissingEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7108-power-rangers-spd-30-missing.html#.UlMAsxCTYmQ 3/10

As much as I love Bridge, this episode consisted of nothing but filler.

Bridge is kidnapped by a monster and Bridge is confined in a small room and the walls start to sink in and try to crush him because Bridge can't break the walls down like Chris Jericho apparently.

And the Rangers save the day and rescue Bridge, just in the nick of time.

Such a groundbreaking episode.

lol not really lol

Next. I still love Bridge Carson. I'll save my bromance with him for another write-up.

37. AbandonedEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7071-power-rangers-spd-13-abandoned.html#.UlMBiRCTYmQ 3/10

This is a very work insisting episode.

I didn't really like this episode for the reason being Cruger came off as a contemptuous jerk to the rest of the Rangers after Cruger had received the Shadow Ranger powers in the episode prior to this.

The B-Squad beg for Cruger's help but he insists that I'LL ONLY HELP YOU WHENEVER I FEEL LIKE IT. YOU DON'T NEED ME. YOU CAN BEAT THE MONSTERS ON YOUR OWN.

Cruger thankfully grew on me as the season went on, but I can't help but feel like the guy was annoying with him toying around with the B-Squad and stalling time and coming up with dumb excuses to avoid fighting in the heat of battle.

Cruger certainly became a stereotypical mentor cliche in the beginning of SPD.

There was also some weird wizard in this episode that later moved to NEW ZEALAND apparently. But I don't really care.

The only notable thing about this episode was that the Megazord fight scene took place at night.

The only time I can recall such a thing occurring in this season.

LMAO @ Bridge and Syd bumping into each other in the morphing sequence.

Syd was wearing slippers while she was morphing. That can't be comfortable to wear.

36. ZappedEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7093-power-rangers-spd-23-zapped.html#.UlMDxhCTYmQ 3/10

This was a fairly boring episode to be honest with you.

The only notable thing about this episode was that Syd was put under a spell by a magician for 4 minutes and 26 seconds.

Yes. I seriously timed it.

Because I am devoted Power Rangers fan like that. Next.

35. ConfrontedEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7025-power-rangers-spd-03-confronted.html#.UlQPZhCTYmQ 3/10

SPD got off to a very slow start and this episode is the perfect case why.

We have Jack (who is the newest member and leader of the team) goofing off and and acting like a buffoon with reading comic books and mocking his team and avoiding labor work unlike the rest of the B-Squad.

We didn't get a good introduction of the guy at all because if A HOMELESS MAN can become the Red Ranger then certainly anyone can.

He mercifully got better as the season went on. I'll discuss more about him later.

Jack came off as quite the loafer in this episode. That's not good to describe a Power Ranger at all.

The only other thing I can say here?

Sky looked pretty hot with that mud splattered all over his body.

That's all I have to say here. Next.

34. DismissedEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7085-power-rangers-spd-19-dismissed.html#.UlQQkxCTYmQ 3/10

Oh god. Commander Birdie might just be the second worst character in this whole season (next to Piggy)

I hated this episode because Commander Birdie was an arrogant POS that systematically nearly destroyed the Rangers in this episode.

He separated the whole B-Squad with ordering them to attack Grumm carelessly without a plan and having them get beat down, because he didn't want them to work as a team.

Not to mention, Birdie didn't even care to acknowledge the Ranger's names and referred to call them by color instead.

RED, BLUE AND GREEN GO ATTACK GRUMM.

So rude.

At least Dr. K in RPM wasn't as malicious as Birdie was.

RANGER OPERATOR SERIES BLACK. Oh god.

So yeah. Terrible episode.

Only saving grace of it was this was one of the VERY few times we actually saw Grumm fight in an episode.

The grueling fight scene on the warthogs Cruger and Grumm we're on was pretty cool.

I should mention that I didn't find Grumm to be a very good villian.

He was psychotic and yelled a lot in childish terms and he was very cut-throat. You know. In layman's terms.

What was up with that little girl Mora being a henchmen to him anyway? Is she his daughter?

Is this some kind Princess Peach / Bowser crap where we don't know who the Koopalings parents are?

And Bowser Jr. was born like 13 years after the Koopalings we're born.

The Koopalings are for sure septuplets.

...Why am I'm talking about this? Next.

33. HistoryEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7110-power-rangers-spd-31-history.html#.UlQR0RCTYmQ 3/10

WORST. TEAM-UP. EPISODE. EVER.

To say this episode was disappointing would be an understatement.

Here we have the Dino Thunder Rangers return but only 3/5 of them return.

Tommy and Trent are left out of this episode for I'm not sure what the reason was. It's flummoxing I tell you.

The Dino Thunder Rangers we're sadly neglected and how the SPD Rangers mocked and basically straight-up told them YOU'RE NOT POWER RANGERS ANYMORE. WE DON'T WANT YOU TO GET HURT.

Oh my frickin' god.

And of course the ending came off predictably corny and how Cruger and the others admitted they would be great if they worked together.

Way to show compassion Cruger (sarcasm)

And of course at the end of the episode? The worst thing had to happen. Cruger erases the Dino Thunder rangers memories after the battle because IT WOULD CHANGE THE FUTURE.

WWWWHHHHHYYYYYYY?!?!??!

In the other team-up episodes in Dino Thunder, Time Force, Wild Force, Lightspeed Rescue and Lost Galaxy the laws of the space time continuum NEVER changed when the Rangers from the past and present had met each other.

Why would it change things now?

Total. Disappointment.

UGH.

At least we got two episodes of the team-up with the Dino Thunder and SPD Rangers in this season.Really. We did.

On a closing note? Conner, Ethan and Kira look so much hotter now.

Conner has his hair slicked back. Ethan got a buzz cat and Kira's hair looks more like a darker brunette here.

They all look good for people to bang. YAY.

This episode? NOT SO MUCH YAY.

32. WormholeEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7118-power-rangers-spd-35-wormhole.html#.UlR4IBD7Tzg 3/10

Here is the episodic Part 2 team-up episode with the Dino Thunder / SPD rangers.

I really mean it was episodic as this episode aired for the first time in 2006. Right before Mystic Force aired and 3 months since the last SPD episode had aired.

Makes logical sense doesn't it? Can't explain that one.

Anyways. For the three of you that care to read this? This episode had taken place sometime half way through Dino Thunder as Zeltrax was still alive.

And this episode was STILL about how Cruger was acting diplomatic with how he didn't want the Dino Thunder Rangers to get hurt but, then he finally decided to have them come together in the fight against the enemies the array of enemies Mora had laid out for them.

Mora looks like Lady GaGa. She seriously does with that Lighting Bolt on her cheek.

Morgana.jpg
http://content.animalnewyork.com/wp-content/uploads/ladygaga_animalny.jpg

All well that ends well right?

WRONG!

What was more messed up about this team-up episode you ask? Tommy didn't come back! :(

That frickin' blows and what happened was that Jeffrey Parazoo (who played as Trent) did the voice for Tommy in this episode to take his place and he did pretty a bad job at replicating Tommy's voice.

I gotta say I love that super huge spectrum of color explosions in the background.

Look at the pretty colors of Red, Blue, Green, Black, Yellow, Pink and White at the end. :D

But yeah. This episode was a stink as I hated how Cruger and the other SPD Rangers mistreated the Dino Thunder Rangers until the very end.

It was very degrading.

31. SamuraiEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7083-power-rangers-spd-18-samurai.html#.UlR5IBD7Tzg 3/10

This honestly was a very boring episode.

I don't mean to sound so trite here but really it was.

The only notable thing about this episode was the villain the Rangers faced in this episode.

It was a door dresser. A FRICKIN' DOOR DRESSER.

And it apparently can stuff buildings in it's drawers.

Well okay then.

Bridge saves the episode for me but he always does because he's awesome.

Predict the future for me Matt Austin! (That's his superpower)

What else happened? Oh yeah.

OH MY GOD. JACK LEARNED TO BE DISCIPLINE WITH A FAKE SWORD CRUGER GAVE HIM. YAWN.

30. S.W.A.T. Part IEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7100-power-rangers-spd-26-s-w-a-t-part-1.html#.UlR6fBD7Tzg 3.5/10

This is a very depressing episode.

Here we have the Rangers arguing with each other and the meltdown getting to be so intense they are almost getting ready to kill each other.

The Rangers are sent to Zentor and are put under S.W.A.T. training to better committed with one another.

I remember Kat mentioned something (It wasn't a throwaway line) in this episode that makes me ask MANY questions about this season.

Cruger: Haven't you noticed the Rangers haven't been getting along? Kat: 5 TEENAGERS embarking on a quest to save the world? I'm surprised they haven't killed each other yet.

I really wonder how old some of these Rangers are in seasons like SPD because the answer to this has never really materialized.

So much deception in this episode and not the mention this episode reminds me the reasons WHY I didn't bother to take ROTC in High School.

The Rangers are taken orders from a RED MONKEY to become better congenial on Zentor.

I wouldn't like to be bossed around by a Monkey.

WTF @ Z shoving Syd down a few times.

Z: I had just about enough of you Syd!

What exactly did she do to you Z?

The only saving grace from this episode is once again because of Bridge.

Bridge: Hey Z. Would you rather have Piggy as your roommate or have bad breath for the rest of your life? Syd: I think she already has bad breath. Bridge: OOH! BURN!

Some brilliant quotes for an unbrillaint episode. I don't care if that's a word. Next.

29. PerspectiveEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7087-power-rangers-spd-20-perspective.html#.UlR7rhD7Tzg 3.5/10

This is a very lazy, comedy driven episode.

It involves basically each Ranger telling his/her side of the story with how they stopped a group of Krybots purloining gold for Grumm's use and how each Ranger came off with an exaggerated story how they stopped the Krybots from stealing the gold.

I have to feel sorry for Bridge here. All of the Rangers made fun of him because he lost count of how many enemies he thrashed in this episode.

"1..2...Wait how many did I get? Oh well. I'll start over."

Poor Bridge.

This episode came off with VERY LAZY production as for when each Ranger was telling the story how how it went down?

The stock footage was VIRTUALLY RECYCLED for each of Jack, Sky, Bridge, Z and Syd's story.

No. I'm serious. Watch the episode. It's indolent stuff.

What's also more sad was how Kat was able to find footage of what EXACTLY happened and how NONE of the Rangers told the truth.

And do you know what really happened? A WHITE BALL OF LIGHT saved the day. That's what.

For who that BALL OF LIGHT was? That was Sam the White Ranger. Or Omega Ranger. Whatever.

I'll talk about him more later.

So yeah. A very lazy episode that was only notable for the Rangers being so ambiguous for why A BALL OF LIGHT saved the day.

Sam was seen in SPD headquarters in a few episodes prior to this so I'm perplexed as to why he's found out about now.

Boring episode that was good for a slight chuckle. Not much else.

28. InsomniaEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7116-power-rangers-spd-34-insomnia.html 4/10

This is basically the obligatory recap episode.

I'm sure every single season of Power Rangers has one.

It details the events that had occurred prior to this episode with the Rangers personalities and how they came to join SPD and what purpose they have for being apart of the team.

Sky is the son to Wes Collins. A Power Ranger from Time Force that we later find out had died.

Syd is a spoiled brat but sweet on the inside.

Bridge is goofy and hilarious.

And Jack and Z were vagrant with living on the street for 5 years and later become Power Rangers.

And all of the Rangers wake up during the middle to try to resolve the differences they have and better bond together as a team.

Get used to it. This stuff ALWAYS happens in an recap episode.

There's nothing coruscating about recap episodes.

And that's really it.

Not a very good episode but at least what it did right is that the Rangers figure out a reason as to why Grumm hadn't destroyed Earth yet and Bridge explains this in the most wondrous way possible.

Bridge: I got it! Radium can be used to harden all metals. That meteor Jack blew up? That could be more than enough for Grumm to use. No wonder he stole that Hemotech Plasma!

I love you Bridge Carson! :D

Everyone looks so cute in their pajamas.

Next episode please. Mindless filler all things considered.

27. Messenger Part IEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7089-power-rangers-spd-21-messenger-part-1.html#.UlVySRCTYmQ 4/10

Where do I begin?

I didn't care for this episode one bit because of how dumbstruck and weak the Rangers were portrayed in this episode.

It starts with Cruger giving the Rangers a pep talk and NO ONE seems to notice THE BALL OF LIGHT that is floating like 3 feet above their heads.

These people are not very observant.

Z has some very unflattering earrings.

I love it how when the Rangers unmorph they IMMEDIATELY morph again.

Doesn't make any sense at all after the beat down they had against Shortie.

Yes. Shortie is seriously the name of the villain they face in this episode.

The second half of the episode basically consists of the Rangers getting they're butts kicked and losing in the battle of attrition.

That's really it. Would of been better if it wasn't for the fact the Rangers were incapacitated in this episode and little else.

26. Messenger Part IIEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7091-power-rangers-spd-22-messenger-part-2.html#.UlVz3RCTYmQ 4/10

After what was a wearying episode that had the Rangers getting they're butts kicked. We have the conclusion to the two-parter with the BALL OF LIGHT saving the day and helping the Rangers destroy Devastation.

The Ball Of Light greets himself as Sam. The Omega Ranger from the future.

We don't get a good introduction on Sam as he comes off as narcissistic and how he makes fun of the other Rangers for being old news and having outdated technology.

Because he travels from the future, Sam is only able to expose himself as a BALL OF LIGHT.

Also? We NEVER get to see a morphing sequence of Sam as the Omega Ranger and how we never get to see him unmorphed in ANY episode of SPD.

In Sam's consolation we didn't get a good debut of Jack, Z and Cruger as Power Rangers either so I can cut him some slack for at least being less modest as the season continued.

I don't like him but, I can't said I really hated Sam either.

The episode ends as we find Sam is from the future and how he HAD met the Power Rangers before as a little kid

More on that later.

Everyone shouts "Sam!" in the ending of the episode as I would of hoped Bridge would of said a jinx joke or something but alas he didn't.

A take it or leave it episode really.

25. Shadow Part IIEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7066-power-rangers-spd-12-shadow-part-2.html#.UlV0zxCTYmQ 4.5/10

I liked the tension of this episode. I really did and I liked it...up until the cheesy ending.

Cruger battles against his arch-nemesis in Benaag. The person that is believed that killed Cruger's wife Isinia.

Cruger is the first ever Power Ranger to be a furry by the way. He's one big, blue dog.

Anyways. The episode segues with Cruger beating the crap out of some Crybots and Benagg and racing against the clock to rescue Dr. Kat Manx.

And remember that cheesy ending I talked about?

Cruger rescues Dr. Kat who had a bomb strapped to her waist and Cruger rescues her with ONE SECOND left on the bomb.

ONE SECOND.

Yes. I'm surprised Cruger didn't suffer from yips while he was battling against Benaag.

Yeah. A rather engaging episode that was killed by the rather corny ending. Oh well.

24. RecognitionEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7081-power-rangers-spd-17-recognition.html 5/10

The episodes are thankfully starting to get better.

This episode was okay.

What this episode was about was that Wootox swaps bodies with Sky and how Wootox in Sky's body tries to take control over the Megazord. Then the city. THEN THE WORLD.

Because that's what all villains do.

The problem I have with this episode is that we have seen a villain switch bodies with another Power Ranger before. Like 487 times before in earlier seasons of Power Rangers.

Didn't Astronema swap bodies with Ashley one time in an episode of In Space?

Yeah. Wouldn't want to bother and guess where it has been done before besides that but take my word for it.

The dog R.I.C. saves the day with figuring out who the real Sky was and who the perpetrator in Wootox was.

Okay episode all things considered.

On a closing note? I love the futuristic setting of SPD.

The setting of a season of Power Rangers is ultimately what makes or breaks the season for me IMO.

Something space like in Lost Galaxy is amazing.

Something that takes place on the abnormal planet of Earth like Turbo or Megaforce? Not so much.

23. RobotpaloozaEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7104-power-rangers-spd-28-robotpalooza.html#.Ulf1fBCTYmQ 5/10

Here we an episode dedicated to Bridge! Yowza!

Don't get too excited though. This episode was okay.

This episode was all about Bridge having dreams predicting the future and coming true and the other Rangers just pass him up as if Bridge's dreams were psychedelic or ludicrous.

They would be wrong. The episode unravels with the Rangers destroying 3 robots in one day and Bridge saving the day with heading to the location where his dreams were foretelling him.

The Rangers dispatch all 3 robots and ONCE AGAIN THE DAY IS SAVED THANKS TO YOU KNOW WHO.

Not the most eccentric episode ever but any time you see Bridge get some proper screen time, you can count on someone to do an episode justice.

You can't count on Z to have a proper episode.

Z had like one good episode and that was it. I'll talk what that episode was later.

22. S.W.A.T. Part IIEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7102-power-rangers-spd-27-s-w-a-t-part-2.html#.Ulf2hhCTYmQ 5.5/10

Why does everyone look so ORANGE in this episode? Cheap animation effects for trying to make it seem like the Rangers we're on Zentor.

We have a Bridge-Sky bromance. So that's awesome! :D

I guess this episode was okay. We have the Power Rangers use teamwork like The Wonder Pets and beat the crap out of some Crybots.

WHAT'S GONNA WORK? TEAMWORK!

The Wonder Pets = MEH

This is the crazy write-up that you will always read in every Preston Condra topic. Yeah.

As the perquisite for passing training as a team on Zentor, the Rangers gain some new arsenal in the S.W.A.T. mode.

Looking bulkier and carrying killer weaponry in his/her disposal.

It's quite nice and it's wonderful how it isn't some afterthought and used to sell only merchandise. It makes the Rangers look more threatening and it definitely made the battles look more compelling. It's used quite a bit in the episodes of SPD after this.

The S.W.A.T gear as a whole is great.

My main gripe with this episode is that sadly it's predictable stuff.

The Rangers make means meet. Come back together as a team and are friends again. All that beatific stuff.

I would like to see an episode of Power Rangers where a villain actually becomes a Power Ranger. Or a Bug Exterminator as a Power Ranger. Or A Ranger betrays his/her team and joins the dark side. That would be cool.

This episode was fine. Just something more unexpecting would be nice.

21. BoomEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7079-power-rangers-spd-16-boom.html#.Ulf3ShCTYmQ 6/10

Here we come to our last minor/major character in SPD to receive some character development in Boom.

And for what as was an episode that was basically about a minor character that doesn't even appear in half of the season wasn't a bad one.

Here we Boom having dreams of becoming a Power Ranger. His parents are in town and Boom lies to them with how he is the Orange Ranger.

Come to think it? Not counting the Sentai adaptation of Power Rangers? There NEVER has been an Orange Ranger in Power Rangers. Other than mentioned for comedic relief purposes.

Boom screws everything up and Jack and Sky are warped to like 15 different dimensions.

I'm surprised neither of the two drowned or were murdered in the process. But this is Power Rangers. You can't dig deep into death of a TV Show that is only rated TV-Y7.

Boom miraculously saves the day. Woo hoo.

Not the most extraordinary episode ever but it will do and it's enjoyable enough for the 20 minutes or so it lasts.

20. Wired Part IEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7075-power-rangers-spd-14-wired-part-1.html#.Ulf5aRCTYmQ 6/10

Usually I try to put as much effort as I can with my write-ups for my projects and keep them separate. But for once? Screw it.

We have another episode devoted to Bridge Carson. Who I cannot stop adoring by the way.

Bridge does a lifting head stand when he's trying to come up with a plan. He does this because the blood flows through his brain faster.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. Bridge comes up with the solution after standing on his
head after 5 seconds or so.

<3 Bridge Carson <3

Anyways. This two part saga was basically about Bridge falling in love with a girl named Sophie. Sophie lies to SPD for being a humanoid-robot. A race that is forbidden from SPD headquarters. Sophie is captured by Valko, a monster Grumm sent to destroy her.

Yada yada yada.

The one cool thing about these episodes was that the Command Center turned itself into a Megazord.

Yeah you read that correctly.

...I can't name many seasons of Power Rangers where the Command Center becomes a fighting piece of paraphernalia in Power Rangers. Quite nifty.

My only complaint with these episodes was that Sophie was a mere afterthought following these episodes.

The one problem with this season. Too many pointless character and too many filler episodes that plagued the season that played no role in advancing the storyline of the show as the season continued.

Well that and that horrible team-up episode with the Dino Thunder and SPD Rangers.

But this was a fine episode besides that minor complaint.

The second part of Wired is higher because there's definitely more action to it.

19. Wired Part IIEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7077-power-rangers-spd-15-wired-part-2.html#.Ulf5lhCTYmQ 6/10

18. StakeoutEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7057-power-rangers-spd-10-stakeout.html#.Ulf62RCTYmQ 6/10

Here we ultimately had what was another filler episode. But it was a good one.

Jack wants to make Syd work on her Birthday and Syd doesn't want to hear it as the two integrate work they have to protect for Dr. Rheas and find a way to capture Sinuku.

I love the little reference made in this episode. For the five of you that care? Sinuku is a diabolical evildoer from KO-35. The home planet of Andros from Power Rangers In Space.

Back to the story. Syd nags and nags for why she couldn't go to her Birthday and then we find out Jack has an unfortunate story to tell. With the guy being homeless Jack doesn't even have a Birthday. Poor guy.

Syd decides to share her birthday with Jack because SHARING IS CARING.

The other three? Bridge, Z and Sky? Well they got to flock to a beach and not do too much in this episode. Yay?

And that's all that happened here in this episode.

Peace is restored for the day but not entirely. Earth is still in danger under Grumm's control.

Would you guys like to restore peace to the world forever?

<3 Peace <3

Anyways. Good episode.

17. ResurrectionEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7120-power-rangers-spd-36-resurrection.html#.Ulf9UBCTYmQ 6.5/10

Sky looks so hot when he's wearing a sweater vest.

Anyways. What this episode was about was Jack becoming more headstrong and open-minded which is a great thing.

Jack back talks Cruger and tells him that there is a life out there other than for being a Power Ranger and it's hard not to side with Jack here in this episode. Jack considers leaving SPD which I'll talk about more about later.

Z and Sky are getting their butts kicked by a monster named Delex and plots to destroy Z and Sky.

Delex: Once I stomp on Blue and Yellow, you'll become a gooey Green Ranger! :D Sky: We already have a Green Ranger thank you very much.

Bridge and Syd don't do ANYTHING in this episode. Sad face. :(

The monster is eventually destroyed and The A Squad is found alive. The A Squad seizes Cruger and turn their backs on SPD.

The episode ends as a complete hangover.

YES!

Wait. No I'm sorry. I mean cliffhanger.

Yeah. Power Rangers isn't Rated R sadly.

Good episode with a lot of good tension and action to it.

Only complaint with it is that I'm curious as to why NO ONE in SPD questioned WHY and for what the A Squad was doing after they we're found alive after so long.

Again. These people are not very observant.

Good episode from beginning to end.

16. BadgeEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7114-power-rangers-spd-33-badge.html#.UlndMhCTYmQ 6.5/10

This is another typical late-filler episode in the season but it was a good one with giving Cruger some good character development.

We later find out that Cruger's wife Isinia is found alive.

The writers basically take a page from Star Fox 64 with Isinia being like James McCloud like how she would be found shockingly alive.

I don't blame Cruger for being surprised. His WHOLE ARMY is destroyed and his home planet is essentially abolished yet somehow Isinia is still alive. Go figure.

Anyways. Bridge, Syd and Sky are injured by a monster named Icthior. Almost to the brink of death. He steals the wounded Rangers badges and plans to destroy the rest of the team.

Z and Jack are almost taken out the same way until the other wounded Rangers reunite with them and are healed miraculously in record time.

I guess Power Rangers doesn't like to promote bruises and scars that are left after a vicious battle.

Everyone teams-up, despite 3 of them being injured and wallop the monster to smithereens.

Blah blah blah. End of the episode.

Good episode. Shortest summary and conclusion to an episode ever.

Definitely made the last few episodes of SPD fun to watch and this one was no exception.

Albeit if it's not as good as anything in the Top 15.

15. Shadow Part IEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7062-power-rangers-spd-11-shadow-part-1.html#.UlneShCTYmQ 6.5/10

Before I continue? I should mention that Piggy is a rancid, terrible character.

Every time I see Piggy on screen I wanted to pluck my eyes out.

What this episode was about Cruger imagining his greatest fears becoming reality. Fear Factor style.

Well okay maybe not. Cruger is having nightmares once again with how he can't get over the fact that his home planet was destroyed and his wife Isinia is presumably dead.

Crugers vows to NEVER FIGHT AGAIN because he says so.

I most say I didn't really care too much for Cruger. He makes excuses and puts himself in self-doubt for a majority of the season and it leads to him not making wise decisions when he's leading the Power Rangers in a battle. Cruger makes one wise decision, but one horrible one the next.

At least I didn't want to cut off Cruger's air supply like I wanted to asphyxiate Piggy but moving on now.

As the episode follows. The city is in turmoil.

Random spikes popping up around the city is not good under any circumstance. Remember kiddies!

Cruger oaths himself not to fight. Dr. Kat Manx pulls off a sexy back flip before she is kidnapped and taken away from Benaag with a bomb strapped to her waist. As evidenced by Shadow Part II.

Now I know there's other people to discuss about here in this season of SPD like Broodwing but since nobody is freakin' reading this? It's not worth my time to talk about.

In all? A good episode. I liked it better than Shadow Part II because of some pacing issues Part II had as it dragged out for like an eternity and how THE CHEESE FACTOR came to play with Dr. Kat Manx being rescued with ONE SECOND left on the bomb.

...I don't know how to make a closing statement in this write-up.

WHEE!

14. A-BridgedEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7038-power-rangers-spd-06-a-bridged.html#.UlnfbRCTYmQ 7/10

Heh. This was a fun episode.

What this episode was about Cruger having the Power Rangers interrogate a bank robbery and look for the criminal that done it.

The Power Rangers are basically The Scooby-Doo crew for the first five minutes of the episode.

A witness to the crime that claims she knows, who did such a flagitious thing is Diane.

Bridge doesn't take kindly to Diane and finds her that is more to her that meets the eye.

Bridge does some A+ comical stuff like he always does here.

Bridge uses a magnifying glass on Diane's dog. I don't know what he's looking on that dog's fur but job well done Bridge.

Hasn't anyone notice that when morphed Jack is taller than Sky and Bridge?

But Sky and Bridge are taller than Jack when they are unmorphed?

*cough* Sentai Footage *cough*

Anyways. We get a moment of wonder where Bridge goes crazy and LITERALLY PICKS UP A CAR and tries to assassinate Diane in the process.

Seriously. I beg of you. People watch SPD because of Bridge. You won't be disappointed.

Diane is eventually the person found guilty of the crime and she sentenced to containment in a trading card.

A rather..interesting method for arresting a criminal. Nifty.

<3 Bridge Carson <3

This sadly doesn't rank higher on the list because let's be honest. It was a comedy episode with not much else going on.

Episodes like this makes me wish Power Rangers had episodes that were 1 hour long. Oh well.

13. WallsEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7029-power-rangers-spd-04-walls.html#.Ulng4xCTYmQ 7/10

Ooh. This was a good episode too. All of these episodes are good.

SPD was a good season of Power Rangers besides a few tumbles the season took with a few episodes. I don't think I'll get that horrible team-up episode out of my head.

Anyways. Here we have Sky still acting unimpressed with Jack being the Red Ranger and the two butting heads for practically the entire episode.

I think they have been trying to make the Red Ranger vs. Blue Ranger rivalry a running meme in Power Rangers since Lost Galaxy.

Weird. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.

The episode continues with Sky getting irate with how Jack and Bridge got brand new bikes for themselves but he was left out.

We also learn that Bridge is Jewish in this episode. AWW MY BRIDGEY. :D

The Rangers are sent to protect valuable diamonds. Syd is ecstatic about Diamonds.

Syd: DIAMONDS!?!?! :O

Good episode.

I think Sky has an Italian-Canadian accent but I'm not too sure.

We get a very cute scene where Sky pours water on Syd's head. Hilarious.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GInE6iPDQI8

Very good episode that had Sky realize that teamwork is key while being a Power Ranger.

Only real drawback with the episode was that we got like 2 minutes of Megazord action. Lamesauce.

Otherwise? A very good episode.

12. ImpactEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7112-power-rangers-spd-32-impact.html#.Ulx1MhCTYmQ 7/10

This was also a mighty fine episode.

Here we have the Rangers getting themselves a new set of Zords. The S.W.A.T. Flyers and they are mighty fine indestructible equipment.

The episode also consisted of Jack and Sky continuously not getting along as teammates. What else is new?

Besides the Jack-Sky feud running it's course? I thought this was a compelling episode.

The S.W.A.T. Megazord is without a question the best Zord of the season as it transforms itself INTO A RAY GUN before it blasts it's opponents to itty bity pieces.

Jack and Sky are sent to destroy an asteroid as the asteroid is thought to be hermetically impossible to destroy and have a collision crash on Earth.

Jack destroys the asteroid on his own is and is thought to perish in the process but, luckily that didn't happened.

Jack is found STAYIN' ALIVE like The Bee Gees and LA LA LA LA LA LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND and the Rangers save the day in this episode. Awesome!

Fun episode. I love the scientist in this episode. He's cute. :D

Now if only we got to see more of the S.W.A.T. Megazord as we sadly only got a glimpse of the S.W.A.T. Megazord in battle in maybe like 6 episodes top. Well darn.

11. IdolEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7053-power-rangers-spd-09-idol.html#.Ulx2MxCTYmQ 7.5/10

A very good episode with some good reflective back story on Sky.

The Rangers stumble upon Sky's former teammate Dru after they rescue him from a fire.

Dru and Sky act like BFF's in this episode and Dru announces to the team that Sky used to be WILD AND CRAZY.

The rest of the Rangers are shocked by this and we sadly never come to the grasp as to why Sky's personality changed.

Half way through the episode and it starts to get intense.

Dru turns his back on SPD and shoots Cruger in the chest with intending to kill him.

HOLY CRAP. THIS IS AWESOME.

Syd: Cruger! No! Bridge: He needs an infirmary stat.

<3 Bridge Carson <3

I learned what infirmary meant back in 5th Grade all because of Power Rangers. Awesome.

The episode doesn't lose it's stride thankfully. The episode ends with Sky and Dru fighting with a each other in a room WITH A CAMERA ROLLING IN THE BACKGROUND IN THE ROOM.

I guess that's fine with me.

And Sky takes care of business because he's awesome like that and Cruger is luckily found to make a speedy recovery.

In all a good episode.

LOL @ Sky destroying Jack's toothbrush at the ending.

Now if only these minor characters like Dru had any significant follow-up in the season after just making one minor appearance in the show.

Seriously. Power Rangers is awful at setting up minor characters in this show but it's good with everything else.

10. Endings Part IEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7122-power-rangers-spd-37-endings-part-1.html#.Ulx3aBCTYmQ 7.5/10

Here we are. The ending of the season and the conclusion for every single season of Power Rangers is what ultimately makes or breaks the season for me.

It wasn't a horrible ending. It wasn't anything unprecedented. Endings Part I & II we're just a good set of episodes for the conclusion to SPD.

Slightly above average if you will.

The first two minutes of Endings consisted of information what we already knew. The A Squad kidnapped Cruger.

*sigh* I hate recapitulation in a big time conclusion of the season.

Broodwing sends Grumm's minions to invade SPD headquarters.

Cruger finds his wife Insinia is still alive.

As much I appreciate how everything is well done in Endings?

This set of episodes are the perfect example of why I don't watch much of Power Rangers anymore.

Endings is basically a 2005 re-envision of Turbo's ending with Chase Into Space.

The Rangers have their base infiltrated by the bad guys. The Megazords are destroyed (well the S.W.A.T. flyers aren't) but you get my point.

Piggy turning his back on the Rangers was quite hammy in a sense as I hate the character and his guts.

But Endings Part I wasn't a bad ending to the season as the fight choreography is very well done.

I gotta feel sorry for the owners of the cars the Rangers destroyed here. Those poor cars didn't deserve the punishment they had with getting caught in the crossfire between the A-Squad and B-Squad.

To hell with trucks though. I hate Trucks.

...Why am I talking about this?

Oh. The B-Squad eventually take down The A-Squad and Broodwing. Piggy turns his back on the Rangers and are sent to capacity with Cruger on Grumm's base while SPD Headquarters remains in shambles.

DUN DUN DUN.

So yeah. Besides the feeling I can't help but get this is basically like how Turbo ended, it was a a really good turnout for the season.

Recommend you give it a chance to at least watch once.

9. Endings Part IIEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7124-power-rangers-spd-38-endings-part-2.html#.Ulx49xCTYmQ 7.5/10

And here is how SPD ended. I'll take you guys through this step by step.

"LAST TIME ON POWER RANGERS SPD" Sky sounds so sexy when he's saying that.

Cruger knows that Jack will be leaving SPD real soon.

Piggy: I'm a low life!

You know have admitted yourself that 37 episodes too late Piggy.

WTH @ Piggy's bus randomly exploding. Not that I have a problem with that.

Piggy gains access into Grumm's ship for I'm not sure HOW he was able to and saves the Rangers and Cruger from the clutches of Grumm.

Cruger captures Mora in a card as he plans to SETTLE THE SCORE with Grumm as the Rangers flee back to protect Earth.

Cruger is reunited with Isinia as she hangs on for dear life on a guardrail.

I hate spelling Isinia's name.

Cruger plays LONDON BRIDGES with Grumm as he rescues Isinia and sends Grumm falling into an abyss. OKAY THEN.

LONDON BRIDGES. FALLING DOWN. FALLING DOWN.

There also just happens to be a Ranger named Nova that also from the future stops by to protect the Earth so that's cool.

We're at 9 Rangers this season. At least Nova's outfit looks decent.

Grumm sends his last sort of armament in Omni in an attempt to destroy Earth.

THIS ISN'T OMNIMON FROM DIGIMON

The Rangers clean house and destroy Omni with Cruger and Isinia inside. Omni is vanquished after we only got like 2 minutes of it attacking Newtech City and Isinia and Cruger are still found alive.

Grumm is found alive randomly. I guess that's okay.

Cruger sentences Grumm in a containment card and the Earth is now saved.

Jack resigns from The A-Squad and goes on to live a normal life and help out people in need of food, water, clothing, etc with Ally. A girl he met back in Resurrection.

Sky is appointed as the Red Ranger. A dream he always wanted to have and Bridge is appointed as the new Blue Ranger.

Sky, Bridge, Z and Syd are called into battle and Jack smiles at his former teammates as the others head into the battle.

And the episode ends just like that.

Good finale. I have seen better conclusions in a few other seasons of Power Rangers like Dino Thunder with Kira's concert but this was fine to stomach through.

At least everything was well thought out. Minus the segments with Piggy.

Piggy doesn't add much to ratiocinate to the season of SPD.

Jack left on bold terms if you. I didn't him leaving like that even without him mentioning a goodbye to his comrades.

I enjoyed Endings I & II and I'm sure you will too.

8. Sam Part IEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7043-power-rangers-spd-07-sam-part-1.html#.Ul37yhCTYmQ 8/10

I'm not totally sure if you guys have forgotten about Elizabeth "Z" Delgado.

Well truth and be told? Z was probably the most forgettable of the Rangers as she really didn't contribute to anything in SPD aside from having potential with being a love interest to Sam, which didn't really go anywhere.

Speaking of Sam? We are subjected to know who this kid is.

Sam is easily prone to bullying from other kids that would mock him as Sam would try to play basketball with them.

Sam is seen to have magical powers and just happens to cause more harm than good with his powers.

We got some intense fighting here in the Sam saga in SPD and it's some of the best combat displayed here until the tail end of the season. Hence it's high placement in the rankings.

The Orangehead proves to be a worthy adversary against the Rangers and for once? We didn't get to see the Rangers be triumph at the end of the episode.

Something fresh, thought albeit it wouldn't be thanks to the multiform of two-part episodes we would get in SPD.

The episode closes with Jack and Z getting both of their hineys whipped and they both try to WHIP IT GOOD like Devo but alas they couldn't as the Orangehead is too much for them and the episode closes on a cliffhanger.

People were also turned into dolls from Bugglesworth but nobody cares about that.

We get some nice battering action done in this episode.

And episodes like this that include nothing but action and fisticuffs I'm happy with. Even if Jack, Z and Sam are not the most likeable characters ever in Power Rangers.

I'll talk more about Sam in the next write-up...

Mighty fine episode all things considered.

7. Sam Part IIEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7047-power-rangers-spd-08-sam-part-2.html#.Ul38-BCTYmQ 8/10

And here it that second part of the Sam saga. Let's persevere on now.

I again didn't really care either way for Sam as a character. One thing I can compliment on the guy is that at least the writers didn't a take note of a kid becoming a Power Ranger like in Turbo with Sam being a Power Ranger when he was a kid.

He came from the future with being a Power Ranger and yeah he was A BALL OF LIGHT for pete's sake and that I can't grudge against him too much as he...

Ah forget it I don't know how I can back that up. I just didn't care for Sam either way. End of discussion about that.

The fighting continues with the Orangehead preying on the Rangers as we get some decent backstory on Z before she became homeless. Being teased at school alot. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

The Orangehead is eventually defeated and Sam warps back to his own time frame.

I'm curious as to why you know? The Rangers can turn their enemies into containment cards from BOTH the Megazord and while on foot?

Why do they have to take it the hard way by DEFEATING the enemy first before turning that person into a card? That didn't make any sense to me at all.

Blemishes aside? I really liked the Sam saga in SPD. Definitely better than most of the batch in the season.

Z's duplication power is pretty cool and despite her being stuck-up at times? I didn't mind her too much.

Even if she wasn't as well developed as the rest of the cast.

Hopefully one of Z's doubles can be a butler for me one day.

Thank god this write-up is now over with it.

This was probably the most boring write-up of the project, despite it being a really good episode.

It's like Alka-Seltzer. OH WHAT A RELIEF IT IS.

6. Reflection Part IEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7095-power-rangers-spd-24-reflections-part-1.html#.Ul3-DxCTYmQ 8.5/10

OOH. This episode was awesome. Where do I begin?

Reflection happens to be one of the very few episodes where we see the Rangers wear casual clothing.

Sky looks the hottest as usual as we see the Rangers play at a park.

HOLY CRAP. SYD IS THE ONE THAT CALLS THE RANGERS TO MORPH IN THIS EPISODE.

You go girl.

Anyways. 3 of the villains the Rangers find they had already captured are duplicated under a monster named Slate.

No. This isn't the name of the villain from Teen Titans. Sorry if that captivated you people.

We learn Sky is still under grievance about his father's fate. Sky is the son to Wes Collins. The Red Ranger from Time Force and as we find out is now deceased.

Mora/Morgana who looks like Lady GaGa stops the Rangers from destroying Slate and it's a heated battle with the Rangers getting their butts kicked.

It takes until Kat programs Jack his Battlizer to save the day.

We see Sky break down in tears for the first time and cry. Dang poor guy.

And the episode ends as a cliffhanger.

So melodramatic and such a good episode. Sky just beholds over Bridge as my favorite Ranger in SPD because of this episode.

I probably hold the closest relationship to my Father than anybody else in my family.

YEAH. DAD'S RULE.

Anyways. This episode doesn't make the Top 5 in the list because when we got a glimpse of WHAT Sky's father looked like in black and white footage? It looked NOTHING like Wes Collins. Lame.

Ah well. At least the picture of Wes with the little kid in it DOES resemble Sky to some degree.

Stupid frickin' cheap budget in New Zealand is cheap.

5. KatastropheEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7106-power-rangers-spd-29-katastrophe.html#.Ul3_QhCTYmQ 8.5/10

This was a fantastic episode.

Here we had Dr. Kat Manx becoming a Power Ranger. And there was some merriment to this episode. Even if Kat's role as being a Power Ranger was ever so brief.

Dr. Kat Manx = Mild Like

Why can't I help it that nerdy chicks are so much fun to be around than nerdy guys?

Kat is designed to be appointed higher up and work for Birdie.

Kat is hesitant if she wants to work back with SPD or not and when Earth is in grave danger? Kat doesn't prance around and it's not she ever did in SPD anyway.

Kat is a worker and I admire her for that.

Birdie assigns Kat a morpher for her to become Kat Ranger for 1 hour and help the Rangers out with defeating Mooney.

Kat's outfit I would say would be an orange/white-ish color.

I guess you can say her outfit is like an Apricot color? I'm not sure but that's your Art lesson of the day.

So yeah. Awesome episode.

Now it's just too bad Kat was a Power Ranger for only one special occasion. :(

</3 Kat Only Being A Power Ranger For One Episode </3

4. Reflection Part IIEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7098-power-rangers-spd-25-reflections-part-2.html#.Ul4ANBCTYmQ 9/10

I'm a little surprised I didn't couple both Reflection episodes together but whatever.

The part two of Reflection was blissful entertainment for a Power Rangers fan like that.

We learn that the monster Mirloc is the one responsible for Wes Collins and demise. He was the one that killed Sky's father.

That fiend!

Mirloc impressions all of the Rangers except for Sam in mirrors.

That's lame. Wasn't there a monster that trapped the Rangers in mirrors in Lost Galaxy?

As a matter of fact? Yes!

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/6464-power-rangers-lost-galaxy-16-destined-for-greatness.html#.Ul3_0hCTYmQ

So much for the writers being creative and Mirloc I don't think he even was a SENTAI monster. Right?

Oh never mind. I'm not here to trash the season. I'm here to have fun.

WHEE!

Sam rescues the other Rangers and reassures everyone that he can be a team player with the rest of The B-Squad.

Jack hands Sky his Red Ranger morpher to take down Mirloc and avenge his Father.

Aww. How sweet of him.

AND WITH THE POWER OF SENTAI FOOTAGE? Sky tears apart Mirloc to shreds with the Battlizer.

Terrific episode.

If there's a reason why I can get peachy about Power Rangers it's because of this episode.

<3 Sky Tate <3

Despite the few slip-ups this season had? Reflection is apart of the best of SPD. Highly recommended you give a chance to watch it at least once.

3. Beginnings Part IIEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7014-power-rangers-spd-01-02-beginnings.html#.Ul4AthCTYmQ 9.5/10

Oh my god. I'm nostalgic for both of these episodes. This takes me back and I can't believe this season aired 8 years ago.

True story? I saw both of these episodes for the first time when I was flipping through the channels and watching Power Rangers SPD and School Of Rock at the same time.

That was an awesome weekend. So happy that 5th Grade was almost over too.

How the hell I can remember that is a question best left unanswered.

There is an epic comic book presentation in the very beginning.

Reminds me of those old Spider-Man cartoons I watched when I was younger. I'm hooked with this season from the get go.

We are introduced to Bridge, Syd and Sky.

Syd is sweet but can act like a sinister snobby brat from time to time. Sky is serious and self-spoken and Bridge is frickin' off-the-wall crazy.

They are sent to stop Jack and Z. HOMELESS PEOPLE with running off with things that don't belong to them.

We get some excellent dialogue from the Rangers as I expected Syd to be mopey and be the typical "dumb blonde" of the group but I was wrong from the onset.

Syd: It's a hologram! It's not real!

<3 Sydney "Syd" Drew <3

Jack and Z run off as Bridge closes the two of them escaping with this line.

Bridge: That went well.

<3 Bridge Carson <3

The little 5th grader inside of me had a mindset that said "I like the green guy." Real talk.

We are then introduced to the Krybots. The Putties of the Season and they make good punching bags for the Rangers to pound on for the season.

Syd, Sky and Bridge morph for the first time into the Power Rangers.

Syd: I'm Pink! My favorite color! Bridge: Yay! Syd: You rock Bridgey! You look good in Green! Sky: BLUE!?!? I wanted to be the Red Ranger! :(

The three of them are outnumbered as Jack and Z run off. Z disapproves to help them out but Jack decides to help them out anyway. Despite the consequences they will face.

Z and Jack are later appointed by Cruger a BIG FRICKIN' BLUE DOG to become Power Rangers. Z the Yellow Ranger and Jack the Red Ranger.

At the same concomitant that all five of them become Power Rangers? Grumm is attacking Earth and it's up to them to stop them.

Beginnings is a extravagant opening to the season.

We got some good characters that develop well over time and if it wasn't for the fact that Piggy and Grumm had to hog up some unnecessary screen time? Then Beginnings would be the #1 episode of SPD.

I'll be straight up and post my rankings for the cast of Power Rangers in SPD.

Sky > Bridge >>>>> Syd >>>>>> Kat > Jack > Cruger >>>>>> Nova > Z > Sam

As you can see? The rankings haven't changed much from my 2013 Power Rangers Rankings.

2. Beginnings Part IEdit

1. DoggedEdit

http://seekcartoon.com/watch/7034-power-rangers-spd-05-dogged.html#.Ul4D3xCTYmQ 10/10

And here is what is an interesting pick for my favorite episode of SPD.

It's an episode all dedicated to Syd. You might not think much of this episode but I'll give my explanation and reasons as to why I loved this episode.

Syd is seen to have a wearisome and sweet demeanor at the beginning of Dogged. She's asking Bridge and Z if they had found Peanuts. Her stuffed elephant she's had since she was 5.

We see that R.I.C. the Dog has been playing with her stuffed animal.

WHY DOES THE DOG CLUCK LIKE A CHICKEN? 0_0

We get an interesting conversation out of Bridge and Syd. Bridge has invented his computer to
conveniently make toast.

<3 Bridge Carson <3

I gotta love that goof ball.

A monster named Rhynx has turned people into slime and it's up to the Rangers to stop him.

Just before Syd is (more than likely turned to slime) R.I.C. lays out MY SACRIFICE just like Creed to Syd.

Bridge and Boom are able to repair R.I.C. and this time? The dog BARKS like a regular dog now.

R.I.C. also sounded like a HORSE at the beginning. I have no elucidation to answer that question.

Syd battles and holds her own against Rhynx and helps lead the other Rangers to where the people being turned to slime are.

Sydney is so hot.

Syd reminds me of Trish Stratus. I don't know why she does.

http://i1350.photobucket.com/albums/p769/PrestonStarry/SydLooksLikeTrishStratus_zps3a5d5ed5.jpg

Sydney Drew > Kimberly Ann Hart

Fact. Sydney is not afraid to get down and dirty when the time came. I don't recall Kimberly ever doing that.

If I ever see Kimberly back on-screen on Power Rangers with Tommy with no explanation being made about that Dear John letter she wrote? I might just drive off a bridge.

Anyways. Sydney saves the day and I couldn't help but love her overall as a character with what she had done in this episode.

This is classic and I hope all of these reasons are enough to make Dogged THE best episode of Power Rangers SPD to back up with my humble opinion.

And that's the end of the project now everyone. A project done by Preston Ward Condra.

This was fun to make the time go by and I hope this was elicit to make you guys become Power Rangers fans.

I'll do more seasons like this of Power Rangers in the future.

Hope I hear from readers like you real soon. Take care now guys. Bye. ^_^
