Professor Layton is the main character in his own DS game released in 2008, which involves him and his apprentice solving a series of mysteries in a curious village, while tacking a boatload of puzzles.
Layton got into the Summer 2008 Contest and finished last against Master Chief, Raiden, and Kain Highwind.
