Random Insanity is GameFAQs Board 403 and one of the site's earlier social boards. CJayC designed RI as the "crazy" alternative to the more calm Current Events, but all of that wildness soon flowed into LUE instead. However, after LUE was closed to new members many of those locked out ended up on RI, so the board ended up serving its original purpose after all. RI remains one of the most popular social boards to this day.
