The "Save My Video Game Company!" contest, is another of the many "Save My" related topic games being ran by of PrestonStarry on Board 8, involving the biggest companies out there creating work in to Video Games, battling each other out one by one, to see whom Board 8 users believe in, is the best and their own personal favorite gaming company out there.


The "Save My Video Game Company!" contest is notable for a few firsts for a "Save My" game being ran by for PrestonStarry on Board 8. The contest started off with a Pre-Liminary Elimination Round in the contest with Board 8 users deciding on which of the following main 50 out of the 80 possible Video Game Companies out there, should take overall in of the contest. Some notable gaming companies that missed out of the contest due to the preliminary round include, Treasure, RedOctane and AlphaDream.


The contest started off with the contest running from October 2009 to December 2009. In the end of the main contest which involves 50 Video Game Companies, Capcom came out in victory defeating Nintendo in a 24 Hour rule match in of the finals in the contest in a 19 votes to 17 votes showdown. 


The contest ended up as a whole, being just as successful and entertaining as a whole for a "Save My" contest by PrestonStarry on Board 8 like so in of the past for other projects being done by him on Board 8.
