I wouldn't doubt it in the least. This is most likely an example of hype > games, because Golden Sun fans had to wait seven years to get another game after The Lost Age, and then Dark Dawn finally came out and the general consensus seemed to be that it sucked--too disjointed, too radically different from earlier games (multiple points of no return when the franchise previously didn't have any); there were probably even some people complaining about the fact that they actually fixed the easily-exploitable RNG that had made it laughably easy to farm randomly dropped items in the first two games. Run this match now, and San Andreas probably wins. Of course, we probably won't actually get another Games Contest for another few years, and with GTA dropping off every year and the ending of Dark Dawn making it painfully obvious that the series still isn't over yet, I'd say that by 2013 the advantage would shift back to Golden Sun as the fanbase gets hyped up that the fourth game will be better than the third.
And as a Golden Sun fan, I still don't understand how the original made it in but Lost Age didn't.Spirit Tsunami 20:35, May 17, 2011 (UTC)
